QUASAR, developed by Ellea Racing, is the result of our passion for the world of two wheels.
This electronic device, strictly Made in Italy, has been developed to offer greater riding awareness to motorcyclists, from beginners at their first Track Day to more experienced riders who want to elevate the technical aspects that are fundamental for a sporty yet safer ride.
RACING is the top configuration with a total of 4 IR sensors in addition to the BASE KIT: 2 for each tire, divided for each tire shoulder (left and right).
The most critical (i.e., coldest) value of each shoulder is shown numerically for each tire in the middle part of the screen.
With additional sensors, the device wirelessly receives telemetry data such as tire PRESSURE and TEMPERATURE, both internal and external, which are critical to tire performance.
An advanced microprocessor processes all acquired information and estimates, in real time and in a conservative manner, the range of the safe bend angle (Through appropriate graphs, the instrument represents in an ADAPTIVE manner the varying limits of the critical bend angle based on the estimated GRIP, also taking into account the type of PNEUMATIC COMPOSITION defined in the SET-UP phase through a special initialization APP.
The pilot also has the ability to record telemetry and graphical data of his or her session, using the GPS installed inside the device.
